SBTRKT

I recently was turned on to the artist SBTRKT while listening to NPR. I liked the sound byte of a song they played on the radio during the review so I decided to check him out.  His SoundCloud was, from my brief investigation, unimpressive.  Still I decided to give SBTRKT a second chance on GrooveShark.  Wildfire, the song in the video above, is listed on GS as SBTRKT's most popular track.  After giving it a listen through my headphones I totally understand why.  It takes control of a moving and pure-esque bass line punctured by the idyllic voice of the artist known as Little Dragon.  Little Dragon's distinct voice accompanied by SBTRKT's strong audio movement creates a sound experience generally regarded only to exist in fantasy.  While technically this music has been classified as the notoriously ever-widening genre of "dubstep" (whatever that is anymore) from my listening I would say SBTRKT is very soulful electronic.  Isolate the music and take a listen, you will understand what I am saying.
